Elder Scrolls Forum: Free Mod hosting

Hello all,

I have just launched a new website for Elder Scrolls mods. All are welcome to check it out.

Purpose:
I put this together because of a few reasons. First, I love Morrowind and use mods like almost everyone that is reading this. I am no modder. So, rather than just continue through life as a leech on the backside of modders, I put this site up so that others can use it to host their mods on.
If you are a modder, and your personal website keeps shutting down due to bandwidth limitations, this is probably the solution you are looking for. Host the mods in my dB, and just point to it on your website for others to download.
Also, I am willing to give out subdomains on per-request basis. If you want a spot on the web for your Morrowind mod (especially if it a graphics mod), I can hook you up there too. If you want one, PM me and I'll get it set up. Subdomains are going to have their own FTP account so you will have complete control over them. If you want to post your mods there, Fine. All I ask is that you visit the main site and add it to the dB of mods.
this is free to everyone. I ask nothing in return.

Rules and Regs:
All content is expected to be Elder Scrolls related. If I (or any of the other admins) find anything on the website that is not TES related, it will get yanked. Repeated offences will result in account suspension.

Features & Limitations:
Anyone can check it out and download.
Membership (free) is required to upload a mod to the dB.
By default, mods are limited to 100MB in size. I can up that limitation if people request it. (Unlike Euro-RPG that wants you to keep them under 10MB)
The website is in a datacenter owned by the web hosting company I work for. The amount of bandwidth usage is several TB/month, so I don't expect any problems there.
The site is running Postnuke so navigation and searching is pretty easy. This does result in file uploads running over http protocols though. Resulting in having to leave your browser open while uploading. (I recommend using a separate browser window to upload with so that you can get on with other things.)
Speeds are very high. I did a speed test from it yesterday by DL-ing 5 files simultaneously. Great speeds through all of them.

Uploads (in depth):
You will need at least a user account to upload a mod. After that, an admin user needs to approve the mod (this goes for news articles as well. but this forum is much better for that...)
Right now, the only other type of account is admin users, which can upload all they want and it will be posted immediately. I am working on creating an account type in-between them so that modders can post and have it auto-approved, yet they will still not have enough permission to delete/modify others submissions.
I check the pending a few times a day, so waits should not take weeks like on File Planet.

Requirements:
Just an account if you want to upload.

This website can be the best out there only with your help. If no one puts there mods in it, well then it won’t be so great, so please add content to it when you release a mod, or upload you current mods to it so we, as a community, can begin to collaborate our mods into one place to make life easier for all.

I am taking a raise of hands (PM me) for a few additional admins if anyone is interested. Preferably someone that is a disciple or greater. Curates feel free to apply though as well.
