I should like to play it next week. I am about to finish City of Thieves, but I guess I will have to clean it up and install Annastia anew. Are you also looking to correct spelling errors and stuff? I loved Deathtrap Dungeon and City of Thieves and look forward to entering Firetop Mountain. Great job. :)

Great. I shall make a note of everything I encounter from now on.

The only thing I can think of right now that did not work in City of Thieves V1.3 was that the journal entry for the locksmith quest did not vanish from the "active" thread once the quest was complete. Has this been fixed in Annastia V3.1?

Also, if we get Annastia V3.2, can we just replace the old version with it, or do you recommend a cleaning save and fresh installation?

Best,
Sir Olli

Sorry Olli, needs a clean save and fresh install. Its a pain I know, but no real way around it I'm afraid.

The new unb0rken version of Annastia is now available. For those who don't want another huge download, there's an updated ESP available too (See, I can be nice  )

Just to explain what Pauly's on about, the original esp had for a very bizarre reason, some dirty references in and around Balmora, which caused conflicts with balmora Expanded. These references are deleted, nothing else is changed. If you dont want to dl again, the loading BE after Annastia in the load order also fixes the problem.

My bad!

When I rearchived, I accidentally added the old meshes, textures, icons et. al. into the ZIP file, meaning that the archive was twice as large as it should have been!

I've recified my boo-boo and the latest version should be available for download now.

Great MOD by the way. I'm on the "Firetop Mountain" quest in the maze. I was wondering if the map when pulled up (Right Click) is supposed to be all black?

I downloaded the update. The land around Balmora is now raised so high as to completely smother half of the new expanded Balmora....

What are the differents between Annastia v3.1 and v3.2
because I just finish the "DeathTrap Dungeon", "The Blacksand Brigands Quests" and "City of Thieves quest" ( defeat the Night Prince ) and I don't want to clean my save and start from the begining this mod, if there are not major updates ( in v3.2 )

p.s:sorry for my bad english

Hi jim

In that case another mod also alters the land. there was something about this on the ES Forums that named the other culprit, but I dont recall what it was....3.2 should have completely killed the Balmora issue, it certainly has done at my end. I have checked and double checked my 3.2 esp and I dont have anything in balmora, and I tested it before uploading with BE loaded

Yes

The BETA testers told me that the maze was too easy, so I made it a little harder by removing the use of the automap in that area.

Sorry :D

The only difference is that 3.2 should remove all refernces to Balmora that soemhow snuck in creating a clash with Balmora expanded. If you either dont have BE, or load it after Annastia, then 3.1 will work fine

3.3, which will be released soon, fixes a few minor spelling errors and such small stuff and adds compatability with the Necessities of Morrowind Mod

Hey
Finally got round to registering on the only multi-author plugin site that actually only has good plugins (there's a first). :P

Anyway, got through the deathtrap dungeon no problems (meaning no mod problem, not it was too easy :P ) - that was excellent, nice to have a dungeon where you need more than a daedric dai-katana :D

Anyway, I've hit a problem at the beginning of the City of Thieves questline -> When I take the Redguard to Silverton, and talk to the various people, I get very limited topic options from all of them, and no topic about going to the City of Thieves when I talk to the mayor?
I arrived at Silverton at night, with the moon dogs about, if that could have anything to do with it?

Oh, and I'm also a vampire running Vampire Embrace V2.1

Any ideas or a work around?

Or have I just missed something blindingly obvious that someone says, or the readme saying the mods are incompatible

I'd appreciate any light you could shed on the matter :)

Hi

First of all, gald to see that the changes made to deathTrap now enable VE to work with it. Cool.

AS for Silverton...well the mayor should tell you to go and see Nicodemus in Port Blacksand.

try consoling

AddTopic "Nicodemus"
AddTopic "Port Blacksand"

Cant think why this wouldnt work...

Well i get the port blacksand topic - but he just describes the city to me, as the other npcs do, but nothing about finding Nicodemus :)

anyway, I'll try this out now, and hopefully can continue with this excellent set of quests :)

cheers

Ok, it works, so Now I've carried on to Port Blacksand, and I think I've found Nicodemus (possible spoiler near end of post)

but when I enter his house, and talk to him, I get no option that brings up any further quest info.

I thin the topics I get are
Almalexia
Blood Drinking (obviously because of VE)
Embrace (again obviously because of VE)
Nicodemus (and I get the reply Yes, I am he)
Port Blacksand
Solstheim

None of these carry the quest any further, unless I've missed something prviously or in the room that means this isn't Nicodemus or something?
Or maybe one of the mods I'm running has well and truly broken this quest? Odd though, as I had no problems with Deathtrap Dungeon.

/me thinks Patrograd is going tog et annoyed with me soon

No, not getting annoyed at all, I thought I had Vampire embrace proofed this, but apprently not. Sigh.

OK, so here's the gist. Nicodemus tells you that although he'd love to help, he cant. Not directly anyway. But, he knows how to defeat Zanbar Bone. He needs you to bring him

A silver Arrow (Addtopic "silver arrow")
2 Black pearls (Addtopic "black pearl" )
Hags Hair (AddTopic Hag)
Lotus Flower

You also need to get tattooed (addtopic tattoo)

Journal PB_COT_Item_hunt 10 updates the journal with the relevant info.

You also need

Addtopic "Zanbar Bone"

Anyway, that should get you going again :D
